Keri joined Bain Capital Ventures in 2019 as an operating partner, where she works across the firm’s fintech and business SaaS portfolios, providing strategic counsel and partnering with leadership teams to accelerate business growth. She also helps drive the expansion of the firm’s investing practice by helping to identify new, innovative startups that represent the future of fintech.
As an operator for more than two decades, Keri has spent her entire career reinventing financial services and helping organizations solve global challenges in established market-leading firms, as well as disruptive new entrants. Her experience extends across multiple sectors including banking, insurance and investing, payments and accounting technology. Most recently, Keri was chief platform business officer at Xero, a rapidly growing SaaS business focused on cloud-based accounting solutions for small businesses, where she developed new businesses and opportunities in financial services, ecosystem (marketplace) and global strategic partnerships. She also served as president, Xero Americas, and a director in Xero’s Canadian and U.S. businesses. Previously, she was executive vice president and general manager of Capital One’s small business bank and held senior roles at Intuit and General Electric Financial Assurance.
Keri serves on the national board of Make-A-Wish Foundation and is involved in small business nonprofits including Endeavor, Kiva and Grameen America. Keri is a recent transplant to the Mile High City (Denver) and enjoys all outdoor sports (hiking, mountain biking, skiing) and spending time with her husband and three kids.
