Jamison Hill is a senior advisor at Bain Capital Ventures, where he actively engages with portfolio companies as a board member and advisor.

Jamison joined Bain Capital Ventures in 2014 to invest in marketplaces, consumer technology and infrastructure to enable those businesses. Prior to Bain Capital Ventures, Jamison held operational roles at Bonobos, an e-commerce-driven apparel brand headquartered in New York City. At Bonobos, Jamison focused on building out the brand’s analytical capabilities across finance, retail and marketing, and secondarily on building out his personal wardrobe with the help of an excellent employee discount. Before Bonobos, Jamison was a management consultant at Bain & Company in Boston, advising clients across a wide range of industries on strategic investments and growth opportunities.  He was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Venture Capital list in 2016.

Jamison graduated from Harvard College with a degree in history and literature. He wrote his honors thesis on the representation of racial violence in turn-of-the-century American photography. While at Harvard, he spent countless hours at 14 Plympton St., covering crime for The Harvard Crimson and leading its weekly culture magazine, Fifteen Minutes. He was also a member of the Crimson Key Society and a class marshal.

Jamison originally hails from Libertyville, Illinois. Outside of work, he can be found exercising to the latest pop hits, enjoying the great outdoors or exploring new corners of the globe with friends.
