Sunny Sethi

Associate, Boston

Sunny joined Bain Capital Ventures in 2010.  He splits his time between Boston and New York City where he focuses on early stage opportunities in the consumer internet, mobile, and digital media verticals.  Sunny has a particular interest in businesses looking to bring consumer product principles to enterprise applications, e-commerce sites asking, “Why do people still go to the mall” or content players asking “What will people still pay for online?” Prior to joining Bain Capital Ventures, Sunny worked at McKinsey & Company where he advised clients on a variety of business development and strategic issues in the retail, healthcare, and financial services industries.

Outside of work Sunny enjoys traveling, all things Michigan Wolverines, spending time with family and friends, and playing the guitar.  His favorite part about being a venture capitalist is getting to work with exceptional entrepreneurs and learning from their creativity and drive.

Sunny received his BBA with High Distinction, from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
