Sahil Gupta

Sahil joined Bain Capital Ventures in 2010. In the summer of 2011, he moved to Silicon Valley to help start Bain Capital Ventures’ Palo Alto office. Sahil is a strong advocate of social content discovery and data-intensive platform services; therefore, he spends most of his energy with early-stage companies in consumer, mobile and social. Prior to joining Bain Capital Ventures, Sahil started Zodah, an Internet startup focused on improving consumer bill management. Zodah was a DogPatch Labs and First Growth Venture Network portfolio company and exited to Hearst Corporation in 2010. Prior to Zodah, Sahil worked as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company.

Sahil completed a dual-degree from the Jerome Fisher Program of Management and Technology at the University of Pennsylvania. Sahil graduated magna cum laude and was a member of Mortar Board and Oracle Senior Honor Society.

Sahil enjoys playing golf, watching Cleveland sports (yes, it is as painful as it sounds), singing in the shower and turning weekends into adventures. While not meeting and working with new entrepreneurs, he enjoys coding new side-projects and discovering new technologies. His idol is his mother, and he uses J.K.
