Mike joined Bain Capital Ventures in 2011. Mike spends his time working with and investing in entrepreneurs and management teams across growth-stage SaaS, financial technology and information-based businesses. In addition, Mike assists with due diligence on live deals and works actively with various companies in the firm portfolio. Mike’s passion lies in connecting with entrepreneurs and together, creating value behind game-changing ideas.
Prior to joining Bain Capital, Mike worked in the Securities Division at Goldman Sachs in its New York City office. Prior to joining Goldman, Mike interned at global agricultural commodities trading firm Transammonia AG in Zurich, Switzerland. Before his tenure at Transammonia AG, Mike was a member of the production team for NBC Universal throughout the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing, China.
Mike graduated magna cum laude with a BA in Government and a Minor in Environmental Studies from Dartmouth College. While at Dartmouth, Mike served as President of the Dartmouth Entrepreneurial Society, Captain of the Varsity Men’s Squash Team, and Vice President of his fraternity, Alpha Delta.
Mike derives inspiration from his parents and five older siblings, each of whom add a unique influence that shapes the way he views the world. In his free time, Mike enjoys traveling, playing squash, and spending time outdoors. Born in New York City and raised in southern California, Mike enjoys the challenge of both remaining a die-hard Knicks fan and surviving the New England winters as a resident of Boston.
