Mike Griffin

Mike joined Bain Capital Ventures in 2012.  He is primarily responsible for finding and evaluating growth investments in business services, information services, and financial technology. Mike also assists with due diligence on live deals. 

Prior to joining Bain Capital Ventures, Mike was an investment analyst at Atlantic Management, a real estate private equity firm. At Atlantic, Mike spent his time identifying value-added investment opportunities in medical, life science, and academic clusters.  Prior to joining Atlantic Management, he worked at J. Calnan & Associates as a construction manager. 

Mike graduated cum laude with a BA in American Studies and a minor in Economics from Middlebury College.  Prior to transferring to Middlebury College, Mike studied Commerce, Organizations, and Entrepreneurship at Brown University.  While at Middlebury, Mike played both varsity hockey and lacrosse. He was a member of the NESCAC Championship hockey team and was named NESCAC All-Academic.
