Jeremy McGee

Jeremy joined Bain Capital Ventures in 2012 after 3 years at BCG. While at BCG he worked on a wide variety of projects for various private equity-owned companies including transaction support, post-merger integration and sales force redesign. Prior to BCG he co-founded a small education startup focused on providing data-driven admissions advice to aspiring Ivy League students.

Jeremy received an S.B. in Aerospace engeineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. While at MIT he cycled through a variety of academic and extracurricular interests including space suit biomechanics, jet engine performance and intellectual property litigation.

As a youngster Jeremy was enthralled by spaceflight and at one time aspired to found and operate an affordable space tourism company.  While his interest in spaceflight has since waned, he still very much enjoys helping other entrepreneurs think through difficult problems.  Jeremy has a passion for fitness and is an avid crossfitter and novice Olympic weightlifter. As a native Minnesotan he is also a reluctant fan of the Vikings, Twins and sometimes Timberwolves.
