Jeff Schwartz

Jeff joined Bain Capital in 2000. Prior to Bain Capital Ventures, Jeff worked at Wellington Management Company, where he was a public equities portfolio manager. He also served in the Equity Capital Markets Group of Merrill Lynch in Boston and in the Real Estate Finance Group at LaSalle Partners in New York.

Jeff is focused on information based companies and business services.  Specific areas of focus include compliance, risk relevant data, financial technology, and business process outsourcers. Examples of recent investments in this space include RDC, The Receivables Exchange, Appriss, Dynamics, and LogicSource. In addition to his portfolio board responsibilities, Jeff serves on the board of Noble and Greenough School and is on the National Board of Advisors to the Center for Adolescent Research and Education.

Jeff lives with his wife and four kids in Cohasset and when not in the office can be found coaching boys and girls lacrosse. Jeff received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from Dartmouth College.
