Greg joined Bain Capital Ventures in 2011. He focuses on growth stage companies in business services, software infrastructure, and healthcare. Greg’s favorite aspect of VC is the opportunity to tangibly help entrepreneurs develop their businesses to their full, disruptive potential.
Prior to joining Bain Capital, Greg worked at Bain & Co. in the Dallas office where he focused on product and go-to-market strategy, corporate turnaround, and M&A due diligence in the PC hardware, healthcare, and mobile industries. He was also on the founding board of Inspire Inc., Texas, a non-profit consulting organization. Greg co-founded Schoology, a cloud-based social course management system now used by over 150,000 students, teachers, and corporate training groups.
Greg received his BA with College Honors in Economics and Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis in 2009.
In his free time, Greg enjoys traveling, down-hill mountain biking, reading both classics and the latest non-fiction best seller, and collecting all the gadgets he can justify. His favorite time overseas was working for a microfinance firm in Sierra Leone and a water development NGO based in South Africa. He hopes that one day he can apply some of the lessons from BCV to assist developing countries.
