Frank joined Bain Capital Ventures in 2011 as an Executive-in-Residence in the Operating Group. He is focused on helping Bain Capital Ventures portfolio companies address strategic and operational challenges.
Frank is an entrepreneurial executive and former CEO experienced in healthcare, technology, consumer, retail, media, education and business services sectors. He has been successful in venture and private equity backed start-up, growth stage and Fortune 500 settings. He has a consistent track record of effectively leading profitable turnarounds and driving top-line growth.
Most recently, Frank was Chief Executive Officer of Pri-Med and M|C Holding Corporation. He successfully led the effort to reposition the brand into a premier physician-focused media property and grew membership to over 330,000 health care professionals.
Previously, he was a general manager at IBM Global Services and helped to revitalize the $400 million technology services division focused on the consumer products sector. He joined IBM after serving as a Vice President at Mainspring, a leading business strategy firm, which was acquired by IBM. He has also held several senior line management roles, including leading a $7.5 billion shared services division for a major supply chain business process outsourcing services provider.
Frank is active in a variety of Greater Boston social and civic initiatives. He serves as Vice Chairman of Boston World Partnerships, a first-of-a-kind public-private partnership with the Boston Globe applying social media and crowd-sourcing to drive economic development of a major US city. He has also been also involved with Camp Harbor View, Albert Schweitzer Fellows Programs, Boston Chamber of Commerce, and the Syracuse University Regional Executive Council.
Frank has a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations and Marketing from Syracuse University. On a personal note, Frank enjoys travel with his wife and watching his three kids play squash, hockey, lacrosse, and crew.
