David joined Bain Capital Ventures in 2011, and is focused on growth opportunities in digital media, consumer, and software sectors. He thinks working with entrepreneurs and helping them bring their ideas to fruition is the best part of the VC role.
Prior to joining Bain Capital, David worked at Bain & Company in Boston on growth strategy engagements across many verticals including software, retail, and financial services. He also participated in diligence efforts for small and mid-cap public companies. David took a leave of absence from Bain to work at Charlotte Russe, where he helped to launch their rebranding effort.
David graduated from MIT with degrees in physics and electrical engineering. His research focused on optoelectronics including LEDs, solar cells, and lasers.
David enjoys rock climbing, sailing, skiing, and other things life insurance companies don’t like. He has climbed at locations across the United States, including Yosemite’s Half Dome.
