Corey Griffin

Analyst, Boston

Corey joined Bain Capital Ventures in 2009. He is responsible for finding and evaluating investment opportunities in the business services, financial technology, and consumer industries. He also helps with due diligence on live deals and works with portfolio companies to add value. Prior to joining Bain Capital Ventures, Corey worked as an investment analyst at Atlantic Management Corporation, a private real estate syndication firm, where he focused on biotechnology, medical, and academic investments. Prior to Atlantic Management, he worked at J. Calnan & Associates, a construction management firm, where he helped oversee the development of several institutional projects.

Corey received a BS in Business Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from Babson College. While at Babson College, Corey was a member of the ECAC EAST Championship hockey team and the winner of the First Year Entrepreneurial Business Plan Competition.

As a Venture Capitalist, Corey values the opportunity to be in the room with passionate people- not just the entrepreneurs with the best strategies, but the ones who have the courage to execute. Corey grew up in Boston and is an avid fan of both the Patriots and the Red Sox.
