Arjun Bhimavarapu

Arjun joined Bain Capital Ventures in 2011. He focuses on finding and evaluating investments in the digital media and business services spaces. He enjoys discovering ways to work with entrepreneurs on the cutting edge of business and technology. Prior to joining Bain Capital, Arjun worked in Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan focusing on clients in the public sector. Prior to J.P. Morgan, he worked in Venture Capital at Accel Partners in Bangalore, where he focused on early-stage investments in e-commerce, and software and biotechnology.

He received his BS in Economics with concentrations in Finance and Operations and Information Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.  While at Penn, Arjun was a Project Leader with the Social Impact Consulting Group, worked at two start-ups in sales and business development, and was part of a nationally acclaimed fusion dance team.

Arjun grew up outside Boston and is a die-hard Celtics fan.  Working in Venture Capital, Arjun enjoys meeting passionate entrepreneurs in Boston’s booming tech scene. An avid tenor and baritone saxophonist, he also enjoys jazz music.
