MinuteClinic was acquired by CVS Corporation in September 2006.

Bain Capital Ventures was the largest institutional investor in MinuteClinic. Bain Capital Ventures’ funding allowed MinuteClinic to expand into several major metropolitan areas across the United States beyond current locations in Minneapolis-St. Paul and Baltimore.
