 How we worked with m-Qube

Bain Capital Ventures led the series A funding of m-Qube in May 2002 and was instrumental in making a number of early customer introductions, assisting in team building, and providing years of strategic guidance. The Bain Capital name added credibility in early negotiations with wireless carriers who wanted the comfort of knowing that m-Qube had a strong financial foundation. Several Bain Capital Ventures employees lent a hand in diligencing acquisition candidates over the years. Perhaps most importantly, Bain Capital Ventures displayed even-keeled board support during both the early tough times as well as during the later hyper growth phase of the company.

m-Qube won numerous industry awards and launched many industry firsts such as the first mobile couponing program, cross carrier premium SMS campaigns, and off carrier deck content delivery. The business was named the fastest growing company in New England in 2005 growing at over 1200%.
