How we worked with Archer Technologies
Bain Capital Ventures provided primary and secondary growth capital to help Archer expand its sales team, increase its global presence, and acquire a competitor. Bain Capital Ventures supported Archer as they enhanced their business model and created a hybrid sales team that resulted in a more efficient sales process. Bain Capital Ventures also helped develop new channels. Through board participation and serving as acting CFO, Bain Capital Ventures provided guidance throughout the sale process by negotiating terms of the sale.
Archer Technologies was acquired by EMC 15 months after the initial investment and now operates as part of RSA, the Security Division of EMC.
